APPRAISAL OF TRANSITIONAL STATES
● to identify where groups find themselves in processes of change
● to elaborate the emotional states of the collective and its resistances
● to deal with conflicts representative of strategic dilemmas
IN SUMMARY
Processes of change inevitably have an impact on the team involved. Sometimes groups are not fully aware of these impacts and find themselves reacting in unexpected ways.
When we ignore these effects, they may become encapsulated in certain persons, in parts of the organisation or in undesired and unproductive dynamics, turning strategic dilemmas into personal conflicts.
The Appraisal of Transitional States work sessions are governed by the principles of theories of complexity: increasing the degree of interaction, highlighting points of conflict and creating contact spaces in order to share states.
The methodologies employed ensure the necessary contention and facilitate the management of existing dynamics, while increasing the possibilities of organisational innovation.
